Overview

RecallHub is built on a simple principle: your conversations are yours. We minimize data collection, maximize local storage, and never sell or train on your data.

What we collect

Free tier

• Conversation text captured from supported AI platforms
• Source URL and page title
• Timestamp of capture

All free tier data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. It never leaves your device. We have no access to it.

Pro tier

• Everything in Free tier
• Encrypted conversation data synced to our servers
• Account email (for authentication)
• Payment information (handled by our payment processor)

How we use your data

• To provide the RecallHub service (capture, search, sync)
• To improve product quality (anonymized usage metrics only)
• To communicate with you about your account

We do not:

• Sell your data to anyone
• Use your conversations to train AI models
• Share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service
• Access your local data in the free tier

Data retention

Free tier: 30 days of local history, then automatically deleted. You can clear all data at any time by uninstalling the extension.

Pro tier: Unlimited retention while subscribed. Cloud data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted.

Security

• Pro tier data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
• Free tier data is protected by browser sandboxing
• We use industry-standard security practices

Your rights

You can request a full export or deletion of your Pro tier data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Free tier data can be deleted by uninstalling the extension.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email (Pro users) or extension notification (all users).
